Dear STA Family,
With both gratitude and a touch of sadness, we invite you to join us as we bid farewell to Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress, OP. Over the years, Fr. Joseph-Anthony has been a dedicated chaplain to the Catholic Hoos and has played an integral role in coordinating our major liturgies and worship events. His pastoral leadership, tireless devotion, and (sometimes over-caffeinated) joy have been a blessing to us all.
As Fr. Joseph-Anthony prepares to embark on his new assignment as Promoter of the Rosary for the Dominican Foundation in New York City, we want to gather as a community to celebrate his ministry among us and send him off with our prayers and best wishes.
Event Details:
- Farewell Mass: Sunday, January 19th at 5:15 PM
- Tailgate-style Potluck Reception: Immediately after Mass
We hope you will join us with your best tailgate dish to thank Fr. Joseph-Anthony for his service and to wish him well in his new role.

Fr. Joseph-Anthony's Farewell Tailgate
Fr. Joseph-Anthony Kress loves a good tailgate. Let's send him off to his new assignment in style at his tailgate style farewell potluck after the 5:15pm Mass on Sunday, January 19th. STA will provide bbq pork, boneless wings, and beer. Sign up to bring your favorite game-day side dish (even if you're the one who picks up the sodas).
