Hello, St. Thomas Aquinas!
I am reaching out to ask if there are any parishioners who might be able to help our youth ministry program source the final few tools for our upcoming Work Camp. Next week, myself and a team of over a dozen will make our way down to Bristol, VA to join a group of over 100 young people from across our diocese to live in an intentional Catholic community of teenagers while serving those in need through work projects (from building decks to replacing windows).
To make this possible, the Diocese asks each parish to bring certain tools to be used on the work sites. As it stands, our parish group is missing the following tools:
- A drill (x2)
- Post level (x3)
- Post hole digger
- Sawzall (reciprocating saw) (x2)
- Shovel
- Air compressor with hose
- Channel locks small
- Fans to circulate air
- Landscaping Rake
- Palm Nailer
If you are able to donate one or multiple of these tools to be used by the Diocesan Work Camp from June 21st to June 27th, please respond to this email and I will be in touch soon!
